The VanRaam walking aid City running wheel

is a walking wheel for people with a height of 100-135cm. This makes the walking aid a perfect fit for people of short stature or children aged 4- 8 years. It is suitable for children and short adults who have difficulty walking or standing for long periods of time, but still want to be mobile without a wheelchair. Especially for children with Down syndrome or rheumatism or balance problems, the walking wheel is a perfect way to integrate mobility and movement into everyday life.

The frame of the lowered walker is 25 cm. This is lower than the standard frame size (47 cm) of the Normal Vanraam walking aid.

Walking requires much less effort, so longer distances can be covered again. In addition, the walking aid is foldable and lightweight, so you can easily take it with you in the car, bus, train or plane. The City walker is very manoeuvrable due to its compact size and the two small robust wheels. The Van Raam walker has a very low step; without having to lift your leg, you can sit down.

Contrary to the illustration, the walking aid for children is delivered in the colour granite grey (RAL 7026). Other colours are available on request at an extra charge. Please contact us.

Important notes:

The vanraam walking aid is the only walking scooter recognised as a medical aid in Germany. This means that the walking aid is paid for by the health insurance or pension insurance upon application, as is the case with the rollator, for example.

Standard equipment of the Vanraam wheel:

Every vanraam wheel with a smaller frame is equipped with several features as standard. A stable bike stand that makes it easier to get on and off the bike. A quick release on the saddle to securely fasten the saddle. As well as a handbrake to fix the walking aid when getting on and off the bike. In addition, the walker has a smaller frame with an environmentally friendly powder coating and a 5-year warranty on the frame.
