Who is Kostka?

KOSTKA-kolobka, spol. s.r.o. is a Czech manufacturer of sophisticated but affordable scooters. This year, the company celebrates its 30th anniversary. Kostka was founded in 1992 as a sole proprietorship. Since the beginning of the 2000s, high-quality scooters for children, youths and adults have been produced at the company's headquarters in Brno - Medlánky, Czech Republic. The scooters are all self-designed and completely self-assembled. For a while, the scooters were also combined with auxiliary motors and delivered. However, the production of motorised scooters ended relatively soon in 2005.

A second mainstay that still exists today alongside scooter production is the manufacture of shelving systems with a partner company. In recent years, Kostka has invested a lot of money in a modern machine park with laser cutting machines, robot-assisted welding machines and computer-controlled NC bending machines. With these investments, the manufacturer wants to ensure that it can continue to offer high-quality and durable kickbikes for children, young people and adults in the future.

Kostka Mushing - robust scooters for fast off-road tours

Kostka mushing dog scooters are extremely stable and durable. Yet they do not cost a fortune. Kostka Tour - 26″ adult scooter

Like all Kostka scooters, the Tour models are also equipped with a high-quality frame. The individual frame components are made with the most modern Laser welding machines welded into resistant and durable frames. Kostka Tour models are available from us in three different versions for every requirement as Fun, Pro XXL and as a Folding scooter. All three versions have a rigid, unsprung front fork and a 26-inch front wheel. The Tour Pro XXL provides sufficient deceleration. Disc brakes front and rear. The other models are braked by proven rim brakes.

Kostka Twenty - 20″ kickbikes for children, youth and adults

Kostka Twenty scooters are suitable for adults as well as somewhat larger children and teenagers. Equipped with 20 inch tyres and wheels at the front and rear, they are the ideal vehicles for you for the city but also scooter routes close to the city. The 20 inch wheels are an ideal compromise between driving safety and manoeuvrability. 20 inch Kostka Twenty models are more manoeuvrable than large kickbikes with 26-inch wheels at the front and roll over obstacles more safely than scooters with 16-inch wheels. Nevertheless, even with a Kostka Twenty scooter, you should not do without appropriate safety equipment such as a helmet and gloves from our online shop.
