Description
The VanRaam walking aid City running wheel
is suitable for people who have difficulty walking or standing for long periods and where a wheelchair is not yet necessary and a rollator is not your preference. Your body weight is supported by the saddle of the walker, thus relieving your hips, knees and ankles.
Walking requires much less effort, so you can cover longer distances. In addition, the walker is foldable and lightweight, so you can easily take it with you in the car, bus, train or plane. The City walker is very manoeuvrable due to its compact size and the two small robust wheels. The Van Raam walker has a very low step; without having to lift your leg, you can sit down.
Important notes:
The vanraam walking aid is the only walking scooter recognised as a medical aid in Germany. This means that the walking aid is paid for by the health insurance or pension insurance upon application, as is the case with the rollator, for example.
Standard equipment of the Vanraam wheel:
Every vanraam wheel is equipped with several features as standard. A stable bike stand that makes it easier to get on and off the bike. A quick release on the saddle to securely fasten the saddle. As well as a handbrake to fix the walker when getting on and off the bike. In addition, the walker has a smaller frame with environmentally friendly powder coating and a 5-year warranty on the frame.
Optional equipment of the Vanraam wheel:
The wheel can carry a load of up to 100kg. For heavier people we recommend the Reinforced vanraam impellerwhich can be loaded up to 150kg.
The wheel is suitable for people with a height of 145-190cm. For small adults under 135cm, the Vanraam walking aid for children.
The walker is delivered in the colour granite grey (RAL 7026). Other colours are available on request at an extra charge. Please contact us.
